Based in Spain, there exists the architectural company of preeminent brilliance, OHLAB. Their award-winning artistry guides the worldwide acknowledgment of their distinctly historic-meets-urban design style. OHLAB’s excellence has gifted the company with many interior design and architecture accolades for countless works, including one of their most breathtaking projects to date, Can Bordoy Hotel.

Capturing only the best visuals for the company's next-level marketing needs, Arturo+Lauren wanted to suit the enhanced online presence their clients desired for both their website and for the many influential international publications as well. Creating an inside look at the heart of the property, revealing not just the hotel alone, but the elegant landscaping, and kindred closeness it holds to the city itself.
Although the natural light of European old towns persuades a seizing charm, grasping its abiding admirers in every direction, there is still a bittersweet reality that the duo faced themselves. This being, the time in which they'd have to capture its picturesque elegance. The days are shorter, unveiling itself so briskly that they had to plan each shot down to the minute. The challenge of narrow streets was met as well, but this would be no stranger to the pair either. Especially, not one to overtake their ability to overcome such challenges and produce the most lovely visuals that can turn a glimpse into a lasting gaze.
Always striving to make each space maintain its natural essence, Arturo+Lauren studied both the light and the dark of the environment. Ultimately, seeking to mitigate the appearance of brass shadows on neighboring buildings. The duo was captivated by the property's historic design story, featuring its enchanting high ceilings and sightly vintage materials. Staying true to the architectural storytelling of the designers, all while capturing the entirety of the space in a way that would not make it appear unduly lavish.
Arturo+Lauren captured all of Can Bordoy through remaining true to its historic design origin, the beautifully aged materials, and OLAB's ingenious artistry. Blending the company's modern flair with the vintage soul that shapes Can Bordoy's timeless fate.
